INNOVATION means: better, faster, higher quality, more creative, and more competitive. Promotion of innovations, innovators, and the environments in which they emerge. Recognition and rewarding of the best.
Our intention is, in cooperation with entrepreneurial and economic institutions of the Republic of Croatia and the academic community, to build:
A stimulating environment for organized innovation, more effective cooperation between the economy and the academic community, as well as public institutes; an educational system that encourages the creation of innovations and enhances entrepreneurship; and a stronger link between applied scientific research and the needs of the Croatian economy.
We invite entrepreneurs, businesspeople, researchers, development engineers, scientists, managers, as well as representatives of all scientific and economic institutions to participate in discussions at the conference and to take part in or visit the ARCA innovation exhibition.

The International ARCA Evaluation Jury will assess all innovations listed in the Catalogue. The members are distinguished experts from Croatia and participating countries.
Based on the criteria defined in the Rulebook, the jury will make decisions on awarding official prizes – medals (gold, silver, bronze, and the ARCA Grand Prize). Innovations will be evaluated according to the following criteria: creativity involved in developing the innovation, the commercial value of the innovation (expected or achieved), technical-technological level of the innovation, ecological, health, or safety relevance, and other criteria set by the Evaluation Jury.
With this approach, we are confident that the ARCA awards will go to the best. The awards will be presented to the winners at a formal ceremony at the exhibition, attended by government officials, journalists, and exhibitors.
As part of the ARCA exhibition, all exhibitors and interested visitors will have the opportunity to receive advice on how to realize their ideas and innovations — from financing and protection to commercialization. This information will be provided at the exhibition by representatives of state and civil organizations that are part of the innovation chain, starting with the organizer — the Croatian Association of Innovators — and including the State Intellectual Property Office, the Croatian Chamber of Economy, HBOR, relevant ministries, and others.
The Croatian Association of Innovators has also launched a series of lectures and presentations on innovation and the work of the association through webinars.
A significant number of innovations showcased at ARCA come from members of local innovator associations across Croatia. The Croatian Association of Innovators alone brings together as many as 30 innovator associations from 10 counties, with more than 1,500 members.
ARCA provides members of these associations an opportunity to present their latest ideas for which they seek partners or investors, as well as innovations that have already been commercialized. It is also an opportunity for the associations themselves to inform visitors about their work and the possibilities of getting involved in their activities and projects.
